The Academy Award-nominated Disney movie Encanto touched our hearts in 2021. It was a Thanksgiving release, and the film was about family, togetherness, and a little girl’s quest to save their abode.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival recently inaugurated an Encanto-themed garden. It depicts the beauty of the magical Madrigal family by blending the beauty of nature along.
Encanto themed garden now open at EPCOT
Since the movie Encanto explores lush tropical gardens and the beauty of nature, its relatability is much more significant at EPCOT. The movie is currently streaming on Disney+ if you plan to watch it and then head to Disney World.
While strolling through the spring festival at EPCOT, you will find this garden situated right close to La Isla Fresca Outdoor Kitchen. This year, the eatery is offering arepa dishes exclusively with melted queso fresco, shrimp, tomato sauce, crushed avocado ají, and more. One thing that is a must-try is the chorizo over arepas.
The garden was inaugurated after women’s day and is a part of Women’s History Month. It aims to celebrate and honor ‘HER’ story. One additional benefit for guests staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or All-Star Movies Resort is that you will have specific dishes related to Encanto to try here.
If you are looking to stroll through more magnificent gardens, don’t miss out on the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase. If you love orchids, you will immerse into the beauty of Extraordinary Orchids. You will encounter the Tropical Rainforest Garden that educates visitors about Mexican rainforest biodiversity as you move ahead.
The EPCOT festival will last until July 4. However, Encanto garden is open to visiting till May 22, 2022. Also, make sure you rewatch the movie on Disney plus to spot the significance vividly.
