The animals in Disney World were fed special pumpkin treats to welcome them to the festive vibe!
Dr. Mark Penning, the VP of Animals, Science, and Environment department of Disney, shared images on Instagram to show us how it went.
The adorable picture of a baby and a big Rhino with a pumpkin with Happy Halloween written on it is the first highlight. You will then find images of an insect, tortoise, snake, hippo, and more.
They are all indulging in the festive spirit with just treats, not tricks!
How are Animals in Disney World celebrating Halloween?
At Animal Kingdom and EPCOT (Animals, Science, and Environment department), animals eat Halloween-themed treats to celebrate Halloween.
The animals are being taken through behavioral enrichment to enhance their and psychological well-being.
The images exhibited how they played with Halloween decorations and enjoyed festive snacks.
The enrichment time for animals is also fun for people visiting them. For example, Jack-o’-lantern was wearing Mickey ears by adding small gourds to a giant pumpkin – perfect sight to grab Instagram-worthy pictures!
The aquatic animals at EPCOT seem to have fun too! Find an image of a Sea Horse by the spiderweb décor!
