Less Crowd in Disney World

Looking for times when there is less crowd in Disney World? Unfortunately, WDW post-COVID does not have days where you can expect less crowd. However, to your delight, some rides have fewer queues than others.

Why choose rides less taken at Disney World?

Disney World is the dream destination for many of us. But, if we aim to make it to Disney World and complete a successful trip, along with luggage, we will also have to pack some patience to finish a trip there.

The reason for this can be gauged by looking at the Disney Crowd Calendar. Disney World is always busy. Barring the two years engulfed in the pandemic, Disney World is never quite low on the crowd!

But, if you want to enjoy the rides and still do not want to stand in long queues, this article is the best for you. The article lists ten attractions you might ride if you don’t like long waiting lines.

Magic Kingdom is the busiest and the most crowded of all the theme parks in Disney World. Most of the guests visiting Disney World make Magic Kingdom their first destination. Hence, it remains quite busy around the year.

Where there is a crowd, there are wait times. Magic Kingdom serves as the epitome of that example. Most Magic Kingdom attractions have long lines.

It might be thrilling to ride on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mountain but the long wait time snatches away that thrill.

Rides That Have Less Crowd in Disney World

So, here are a few Magic Kingdom attractions that are fun rides as well as have fewer wait times:

Swiss Family Robinson Tree House

If you visit Adventureland, this ride is not the one that will instantly catch your attention, even if it has the potential to do so. Thus, it is pretty much sure that you will not have to succumb to long wait lines to enjoy Sweet Family Robinson Tree House.

As the name might suggest, the attraction is based on the book and the movie, The Swiss Family Robinson. So, as shown in the film also, you will walk through the giant treehouse in this attraction!

In the book as well as the film, we learn about a family who was shipwrecked. Then they swam ashore to make a beautiful treehouse. If you want to be a part of that experience or know how they made it, you can take a stroll inside the treehouse.

The treehouse has a great height. So, if you do not have a problem with that or if you do not have any mobility issue, this is going to be one of the best attractions of the sot.

Enchanted Tiki Room

This is one of the best-overlooked attractions in Disney World. The tropical treat that is awaiting you inside the Enchanted Tiki Room is delightful.

There are flowers, tiki idols, and animatronic birds. The 15-minute indoor show is a very relaxing time where you can enjoy your time inside an air-conditioned hall.

So, if you are tired of roaming around in the park and tired of wait lines, this can be a very good attraction for you where you can rest and enjoy!

While waiting in short lines, Claude and Clyde will come to me and greet you! The main four birds- Michael, Fritz, Pierre, and Jose, appear in the main show.

The songs they perform will stay in your mind, and you will continue to hum the entire day. The famous Sherman Brothers wrote these tunes.

Country Bear Jamboree

Frontierland is situated adjacent to Adventureland. It is our next stop destination.

Instead of singing birds, which are still common, we will welcome singing bears spotted in the Country Bear Jamboree.

A large group of bears sings offbeat country music to keep you on the rhythm. This is also historically important because this attraction is the last one in the hatch that was being worked on during Walt Disney’s lifetime.

This musical hosts some the songs like “Bear Band Serena,” “All the guys that turn me on turn me down,” and “My Woman Ain’t Pretty (But She Don’t Swear None).”

The show came under refurbishment, and it was also made shorter. Fans feared that their favorite songs could also be under attack or refurbished, but the authorities didn’t make the same mistake as they did with Enchanted Tiki Room.

So, they retained those songs but just made it a little tight. This countryside musical should be on your list the next time you visit Frontierland!

Frontierland Shooting Gallery

Situated between two shops in Frontierland, this is also one of the attractions that you would not want to miss. If you want to play for 35 shots, you will have to pay a dollar for the two change machines installed there.

You are transported to an old shabby western town where you have well-lit targets which will have to shoot down. With every successful shot, you will have something new in the scene you are playing. Earlier, the guns had pellets, but now it is more like a laser gun. So, this is something that you would want to check out the next time you visit Frontierland.

Tom Sawyer Island

If you were a bookwork in your childhood, the adventures of Tom Sawyer is a very familiar name in your mind. Imagine getting transported to his island in the middle of Frontierland. So, on this island, you can spot some of the best locations from this novel.

You can locate the military fort made of massive logs, a floating bridge made with barrels, a mill, a cave maze, and snacks on a stand with some southern treats if the season permits.

So, not only are they capturing your visual sense by providing you the snacks, but they are also capturing your taste sensations.

So, this is something that no Tom Sawyer fan would ever want to miss! Tom Sawyer Island is the best destination if you want a break from casters, churros, and some slow times. Here you can explore for as long as you want. As if the ancient relics are juxtaposed in a modern-day park.

You can even explore the hidden underground exit or get inside the gun towers of Fort Langhorn to shoot into the woods. The fort’s name comes from the original name of Mark Twain, Samuel Langhorne Clemens.

Reaching the Tom Sawyer Island is also a part of an experiment. You will have to ride a raft that will land in front of Big Thunder Mountain!

Hall of Presidents

If you were interested in political science in your school days, you would want to visit the place that pays homage to all the serving presidents of the United States of America.

The Hall of Presidents is where a 25-minute show inside an air-conditioned hall will introduce you to the 44 presidents of the country. So, if you visit Liberty Square and want to get charged up a little, head to the Hall of Presidents.

Mickey’s PilharMagic

With 4D technology in place, this attraction opened in 2003. In this show, we will see Mickey Mouse arranging a concert for the guests, and Donald Duck is in charge of magical instruments. However, in setting them for the concert, Donald Duck ends up in a fight with them.

Donald then gets sucked into the best musical moments of Disney movies. So, as all of these unfold, you roam through bubbles, water, and 3-D items floating around you.

You might even perceive all these as real and try to reach out for the floating jewel. This is a nice 12 min break if you need some respite from the constant hustle of Disney World.
