Disney World Parks: What Are Best Days to Visit?

While you are planning your magical vacation, there is a question that matters. What are the perfect days to visit the Disney World Parks? Of course, there is no doubt that each day at Disney is equally fantastic. However, certain days are better than others for each park.

Everyone wants to spend their vacation at Disney World minus any glitches. Guests will have a much easier time navigating the Disney World Parks if they plan ahead of time. This is especially true now that Fast Passes are no longer available. So, when is the ideal time to visit each park?

Let’s have a look at it.

Plan your Disney World Parks schedule for a better experience

First and foremost, you should be aware that the extra particular Magic Hour is no longer available for Disney World Resort visitors. Instead, there is a new offer that allows visitors to explore their favorite park for 30 minutes before the opening hours. This additional half-hour will enable you to enjoy your favorite rides before the park opens to the general public.

This additional half-hour will be helpful because it will apply to all parks, not just one! In addition, this will eliminate the “rope-drop” crowds that used to be present during the morning extra magical hours.

You can arrive early to grab a spot in line for the parks with the longest queue. The My Disney Experience app can keep you updated on wait times. If at all possible, try to avoid long vacations or school breaks. Spring and winter break are typically quite busy times. Weekends during the holidays may often witness heavy crowds.

Magic Kingdom

We’ll start with the Disney Magic Kingdom because it’s the park that is a mandatory visit location for most tourists. Mondays are usually one of the busiest days at Magic Kingdom. The crowd is probably because families arrive primarily on a Sunday or Monday.

Tuesday is usually the best day to visit Magic Kingdom Park, according to people who have been there before. However, if Tuesday is not an option for your group, you can make plans on a Thursday, Wednesday, or Sunday (in that order).

EPCOT

Dapper Day 2022

When visiting Disney EPCOT, it’s crucial to consider any festivals that may be taking place. A weekend during the International Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT, for instance, witnesses a heavy crowd. But, of course, this is true for all other festivals too. Saturday is just a crowded park day in general. On the other hand, Mondays and Wednesdays are the least-busiest days at EPCOT.

Hollywood Studios

Since reopening, Disney Hollywood Studios Park has regularly had the most extended wait times and the most challenging park pass reservations to obtain. As a result, you should avoid this park on weekends. Instead, Tuesday or Thursday are the best days to book your Hollywood Studios park pass.

Animal Kingdom

Disney World Parks: What Are Best Days to Visit?

This park has shorter lines every day of the week than the other three parks! Keeping aside the extra room for animals, the Animal Kingdom is a smaller park that has fewer attractions than the other parks so you can expect smaller crowds every day of the week!

Visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom over the weekend is your safest bet out of all four parks. However, double-check the park reservation and availability calendar in advance to avoid any glitches.

Keep in mind that the number of visitors varies depending on the season. Holidays and extended breaks, for example, spring break, attract many visitors to Disney World Parks. Consider visiting the parks during a slower year, such as February, April, or September, if you want to avoid crowds.
